We have an immediate need for an HHA or CNA in Tell City, Indiana, with a strong preference for caregivers available to work overnight shifts.

• Location: Tell City, IN
• Position: Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Start Date: As soon as possible, upon completion of onboarding requirements
• Preferred Schedule: Night shifts / Overnight availability
• Care Setting: One-on-one care in the patient's home

Additional patient hours may be available based on staffing, patient needs, and scheduling. Specific shift times will be discussed during the hiring process.

Home Health Aide / CNA Responsibilities

As a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide personal care and assistance under the direction of the supervising Registered Nurse and in accordance with the patient's individualized Plan of Care.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Providing assistance with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as directed
• Supporting patients with toileting and other personal care needs
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding when included in the Plan of Care
• Providing companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
• Helping maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe patient environment
• Providing attentive personal care and support during evening or overnight hours as assigned
• Observing and reporting changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
• Documenting care provided accurately and in a timely manner
• Encouraging patient independence while maintaining dignity and respect
• Following infection-control, patient-safety, privacy, and Elite Home Healthcare policies and procedures

Qualifications

Candidates must:

• Be a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who meets applicable Indiana requirements for the assigned position
• Preferably have availability for evening or overnight shifts
• Be available to begin employment as soon as possible following completion of required onboarding
• Demonstrate compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in helping others
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be dependable, responsible, and detail-oriented
• Be comfortable providing individualized care in a patient's home
• Be able to follow an established Plan of Care and instructions from the supervising nurse
• Demonstrate effective time-management and organizational skills
• Have reliable transportation to assigned patient locations
• Complete applicable Elite Home Healthcare employment, training, screening, and compliance requirements

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in home healthcare, personal care, caregiving, overnight caregiving, long-term care, assisted living, or related patient support roles is valued.
